We are looking for a caring and reliable evening babysitter to take care of our boy (2 years and 4 months) for at least 1 hour per day during the weekdays. Our boy attends nursery every day and needs to be looked after after the nursery and before we get back home from work.

The exact schedule is as below:
Monday: 6pm-7pm
Tuesday: 4:30pm-7pm
Wednesday: 4:30pm-7pm
Thursday: 6pm-7pm
Friday: 6pm-7pm

Duties will include collecting DS from the nursery at 6pm on Monday, Thursday and Friday, and at 4:30pm on Tuesday and Wednesday. We will prepare the dinner for DS beforehand so the food only needs to heated using the microwave. Although it is unlikely that the babysitter needs to do the cooking, it will be a plus if the babysitter knows how to prepare healthy dinner for children. We expect the babysitter to provide creative structured activities and guide DS to learn from play.

Besides being capable of fulfilling the duties above, a good candidate should also meet the following requirement:
Be patient, caring, bubbly, punctual and reliable.
Enjoy coming up with and participating in both indoor and outdoor (in the family garden) activities with children.
Have a genuine interest in the care, education and development of children.
Have previous and relevant nanny or babysitting experience (at least two years of paid experience) with children of similar ages.
Be a non-smoker.
DBS check.

Ideally we are looking for a babysitter locally. We are living at the border of Muswell Hill near Wood Green. Pay will be on hourly rate (ÂŁ7 to ÂŁ12), depending on the experience. If you are interested, please send your CV, a cover letter and details of at least two referees to [email protected].
Start date: early or mid September
Best regards,
Eric
