I'm employed as a nanny and obviously pay my taxes etc.. as a result of this.
Can you give me a basic simple step by step guide on what I need to do to pay tax on additional work (as a nanny) thank you!

Also, when should I do it? For example, if I do 1 day in December, when should I fill out the form ? (I don't know what form it is btw!)

Nick is better at explaining then me

But if you are doing ad hoc work as well then you need to register as se

Then at end of tax year so next April you will do a tax return. I do online and you will put in your employed wages and tax that's been paid

Then add any se work and the online assessment will work out what you owe
