Ideas/competitions needed please for Welsh Inspired Eisteddfod!!!

Please help, I have been asked to help with this years Eisteddfod (March 1st) at my son's secondary school. Need ideas/competition for each subject area!

At our school, it's the departments themselves who come up with the ideas. I teach French - last year, we had 2 competitions for each year group- a recitation for the stage competition, and a written one:

year 7 wrote a paragraph about themselves using as many connectives as possible
year 8 wrote an illustrated weather forecast
year 9 wrote a poem about their preferences....
