Hi all.
I am new to this site.
I am wishing to return to work, however it will be evenings between (approx) 7.30 and 10.30pm for a 9yr old son.

If anyone can direct me, this would be most appreciative.

Thank you in advance
Karen

You could try childcare.co.uk got childminders etc. type in your postcode and it will bring up childcare in your area. All the best

If you also go on the county website they should ave a list of registered childminders ...

You may be wanting someone to come to your home, so they will be more like a nanny if working set hours set days, or a babysitter if there is no commitment.

If you are in England, Wales or Northern Ireland then some nannies are registered so you could use chilcare vouchers or tax credits. If you are in Scotland then you need to recruit via a nanny agency to use vouchers/tax credits.

You would need to do payroll, so make sure you get a feel for the figures involved. What taxes are due depends on the salary.

As its 3hrs a night you would be better of using sitters

Whoops. Hit send

Cm rarely work evenings and would you want a 9yr going to bed after 930 every school night

Fair better to have someone in your own home
