Students for childcare?

Hi,

I've been looking for a temporary one afternoon a week mothers help/nanny/postnatal doula to help out, and it's been suggested to me that it's the kind of position a student might be interested in. How do you find students for this? Contact the childcare department at the nearest college? I wasn't sure. Has anybody done this?

Probably a good place to start, although when I tried that a number of years ago I was told that the students there had full days including afternoons so wouldn't be able to do childcare work in the afternoons. Otherwise church noticeboards, Gumtree, local youth group?
