going rate for CM

pretty sure this will be in numerous places on the board already but have had a good look and cant seem to find it!

what is the going rate for a cm? looking to weigh up my options for returning to work and want to consider a cm. am in central scotland if that makes a difference.

£3.50 an hr i charge in wales

Try this site. Go to town or postcode search, then childcare search,select childminders and it will bring up a list in your area. Click onanyones details and it shouldgive a rate. Try a few different ones to see what the general rate is around you
