I'm going back to work sometime around February 2016 and thinking about childcare. I don't want to leave it too late and be rushed into something- how far in advance do nannies usually look for their next post?

Generally I say 3mths before

Lots of nannies have 6/8 weeks notice

Takes a month or so to meet a few nannies - 2nd interviews - check ref - offer job and do contracts

So if beginning of feb then start Nov

Prob slightly too early to start now

Thanks, that sounds sensible.
