CM: Activities for multi age ranges?

Can I ask for some advice on what you do for activities for full age ranges? For example, I have an 11 month old, 15 mo, 6 year old and 10 year old (2 of them are my own), plus a 2 yo starting in a month.

I would think just let them all have a go - on whatever activity I chose, i.e. painting/colouring.

Is that right? It's not the end product that matters, just the creativity?

yeh just do the same with all of them they will all get something different out of it. when my older ones have play dough i give the younger ones it as well even if they only feel it and don't actually make anything its still nice for them to be included

If we do stuff with glue/paint - the baby, who can be in a high chair and would therefore be part of our group at the table) would have everything but the actual glue/paint (like gluesticks/brushes, bits of paper, boxes etc - but obviously needs supervising!!)

Playdough - they can have the cutters or rolling pins or (supervised closely again) the playdough.

If an activity is really unsuitable, it's an ideal opportunity to get out the treasure basket or even a few non-child items (hand whisk, empty multi-pack crisp bag) to play with.
