Eating dinner with Mindees?

At the end of the day would you and your children and husband/partner eat dinner with the mindees? They go at 6 and sometimes it seems lilly to be cooking all over again once they have gone. Is it exceptable to all eat together, with husbands too? ( if the mindees are eating too?)

What if they wasnt eating and having dinner at home...would you do it then too???

Oh heavens yes. My mindee goes home at about 5.30, and he's had dinner by then. Most parents I think would be happy for them to have the "sitting down for tea" experience. My mindee's mum is quite happy to have some quality time with him when she gets home rather than having to rush round getting tea for everyone before bedtime. We don't often have dad sitting down too because we eat so early, but if he comes home early then he joins us.

2 of my mindees always have dinner at mine with my own children and dh

1 of them lives with just his mum and its sad but they never eat together he always takes his dinner to his room and eats on his own so he loves it at mine (he is only 8)
