What to put in an au pair's welcome gift basket?

So far I was thinking:

Box of shortbread
Nice box of chocolates
Face mask
Sleep eye mask (sun rises through au pairs room, cream curtains)
Lush bath bomb
Topped up Oyster card
Pictures drawn by DS
Au pair family handbook
Guide book for London

... Any more ideas of nice little bits?

I usually give them some nice shower gel, new towels, and a Costa gift card plus a mug

Can you get some decent curtains?? Just have a black out lining put on the back.

I give shower gel, hand cream and scrub. Au pair pack has things like bus and train timetables, oyster card, AA card for the car, sainsbury's card (we have a kitchen in the flat).

Like the idea of a costa gift card!
