I always used to use Mr Anchovy's but it doesn't seem to have been updated... I know about the nanny tax one although it's much more basic. Can anyone recommend another? Many thanks in advance.

www.uktaxcalculators.co.uk/salary-calculator.php
It will not do Reverse (Net to Gross) only Gross to Net.

This one does Reverse (Net to Gross) but only for Monthly Pay.

Calculators like these should never be used for producing payslips.

Small employers should use HMRC Online or Payroll Software (such as BrightPay which is free for an employer with 3 or less employees).

Do you need a rough idea or exact? If its rough, you can always use Mr Anchovy's 14/15 calculator and change the tax code to 1060L to reflect the new tax free min. NI payments may have changed slightly though.

Thanks all so much. I have a payroll company for payslips but the calculator was invaluable for considering costs when hiring again. I really miss it but sure these alternatives will help me get the right idea. Thanks a lot.

Late to the party, but I created a tax calculator: calculators.icu/tax-calculators/income-tax-calculator

I'm hearing in a few places that people want net to gross and visa versa, is this a feature you would use?
