smoothies in the hat house are made of whatever's in teh fruit bowl taht won't last another day. except kiwi. smoothies made of kiwi are devil's food

I get a box of freshfrozen berries (any veriety)from the supermarket (dirt cheap) and readily available

Throw in a handfull of them
a banana
some milk
some yoghurt if you fancy it a bit thicker
some oats if you want it as more of a meal
some seeds if you are feeling really healthy (just a few or it goes bitty)
some apple/orange juice if you fancy padding it out a bit.

yum scrum and lovely and cold because of the frozen berries.

banana, milk, and some porridge oats is quite substantial.

i love smoothies made with Kiwi!!! although you have to be very careful not to mix with citrus things because then it tastes like acid!!! The best things to 'bulk' the smoothies out are bananas, i also use fresh orange juice to thin them down again. i would imagine milk would also work for that, but i cant drink milk, so dont actually know. On the Veg front, Celery, carrot, tomato juice and a dash of ginger is a brill hangpver cure!!!

just to add that my recipe will feed a big family (not just one person!)
