Au pairs and paying for extra hours but factoring in the bank holiday - does this sound okay?

I just want to check if this logic sounds okay to more seasoned au pair hosts (as we have only had an au pair for a couple of months) in relation to extra hours (obviously I'm paying the au pair her usual weekly rate). Our au pair does 30 hours a week (25 split equally over five days and then 5 hours whenever we need them during the week). As it is the holidays our lovely au pair has agreed to do extra hours each day this week to look after the dcs (paid obviously). She has Friday off of course. So if it was not a week with a bank holiday I'd pay her for all her hours after she'd done 30 hours for me.
This week I'd propose to pay her for all the hours that exceed 24 hours (ie (30 divided by 5 and times by 4). Does that sound logical/right/fair or is there another norm for au pairs?

So, she has bank holidays as paid holidays right?

If so, yes, that sounds fair.
