I'm trying to find a regular babysitter for my 4 year old and I'm coming stuck on how to even go about finding someone!!! Any advice greatly received!!

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Ask at your pre-school, a lot of staff moonlight as babysitters and then it'll be someone checked who you should be able to trust.

Word of mouth or sitters.co.uk

Ask someone you already know - a neighbour, nursery staff.
Websites like www.childcare.co.uk where you will find many childcarers profiles. Costs to make contact, the App has a 1 week subscription I think as well as other lengths without auto-rebill.

Meet a couple of localish people so you have more than one to call upon.

Hi Maria! What area are you based? Do you have friends locally who use a nanny/babysitter that they could recommend for you?

What hours are you wanting? Will your daughter be in bed asleep or is it during the day? Does it involve childcare?

may not work for you - but we have a local babysitting swap with about 10 local mums. we trade hours among the 10... saves a buddle!
