Hello

I'm in the process of registering as a childminder,
I'm waiting for my hubby DBS to come bk. Mine came bk months ago, can I start ofsted without his DBS number?
My form EYC
His form EY2
I know one of them ask for his DBS number not sure which one?
Also could this help speed prcess along or will it not make a difference?

Have you tracked it online to see what the hold up is? It should be back by now I would of thought. Has he lived abroad as that can delay it or if he has lived at multiple addresses but would of thought yours would be similar unless newly married.

You can fill in the form online but you cannot submit it until he has completed and submitted his form and he can't do this until you have his DBS back.

Thanks ladies, thought so, I am tracking it online, it is stuck at police check stage, it was on the radio saying there is a back log of DBS checks at the moment.
I rang them and they said its on day 45 and after 60 days they will escalate it. So got another 3 weeks to go. Never mind ill just have to wait.
