Can anyone recommend a good nanny in west London please? I'm looking for a nanny for 3 days a week from March. Two children aged 1 & 4.
I'm struGgling to find someone so any recommendations or advice would be gratefully received! Thanks

It doesn't usually work like that.

You usually put an ad (with really exact specifications) on gumtree/nappyvalley/nannyjob. People apply with their CV's, you do a shortlist and then you interview them.

You really shouldn't be struggling in London, are you offering going rate?

Are the three days split apart? That may be harder to fill but it may suit someone.

Childcare.co.uk is another site that you can use to find nannies.

You need to have a very clear advert, detailing what you want and what you paying.

Mumsnet Talk is not a place to advertise but you can put something on Mumsnet Local. Gumtree, Childcare.co.uk, NannyJob and NappyValley should really be sufficient to find someone. You will need to pay for ads/membership to get full exposure and ability to message people but it's a lot cheaper than using an agency.

If you really can't find anyone, is there a local agency? Buttons agency covers Brentford, Ealing, Ruislip general area but do expect fee to be over £1000.
