If a job application asked you to 'summarise the nature of the work performed, your job responsibilities and any achievements attained' what would you write?
have been a nanny for about 3 years now and am just keeping options open and looking into other fields of work! I have a few ideas but always feel like I downplay my job :(

Educating children, planning and organising, patience, communication skills with both children and parents. - Communicating concerns, taking instruction but also Working independently.
What job are you thinking of applying for - might be easier to come out with the 'buzz' words if you can let us know.

Providing a safe, stimulating and happy environment for the children to learn and grow in. Supporting them through their development. Maintaining respectful relationships with both parents and children. Taking responsibility for the overall safety and well being of the children on a daily basis. Education; providing educational trips, teaching them independence, moral guidance etc.

Using your initiative. Able to work both independently and in partnership with the parents. Supporting parents and children through various changes/ difficulties. Communication skills. Dealing with a variety of behaviour issues; shyness, anxiety etc. Planning, organising and education of children at different stages of development. My cooking skills have improved drastically since I started nannying too.
