Nanny Needed SW6

sleepfinder · 17/10/2006 12:42

I'm looking for a cheerful, lively, caring nanny to help look after my 6 wk old son. Supervised rather than sole charge. Experience with healthy newborns / small babies essential. Non-smoker. Nearest tube: Putney Bridge. Don't need a driver.

I'm flexible in terms of hours / days. Will consider people looking for p/t or f/t weekly work to fit around other p/t childcare etc

Rates negotiable but based on a full 5 day wk @aprox £300 net

Please email CVs / interest to [email protected]

Suggest you try www.nannyjob.co.uk. Is this live-in or live-out? Also, do you need a full nanny or a mother's help? Just a thought, but if you only need a mother's help you could save some £.

thanks B
I need someone who is qualified or experienced at looking after very young / new babies someone I could leave him with for a few hours if necessary - I don't know if "mother'shelp" qualify for that, do they?

Thanks v much for the website!!

In that case, I agree you probably want a nanny.

You might also try putting an ad on gumtree.com.

I might suggest you consider younger nannies who might be more willing to be supervised. Possibly someone with nursery/preschool experience? But, someone who could is interested in nannying for a career (forseeing that you may choose to have more children and therefore wish to hire someone who would be around for quite a few years).

Hi sleepfinder, would you consider a nanny living with you for a less wage?

mishmash2 · 19/10/2006 12:55

Hi - I currently have an excellent nanny who works for me on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and is looking for more work. She has looked after my 13 month old son since he was 6 months but I'm sure she has experience of younger babies - she has 2 grown up children herself. If you are interested then please call me and I'll put you in touch - 02072230295. Katie

mismash - thank you for the suggestion. where are you / she based? I'm finding some nannies are quite close by but others having one hellof a commute..

nannystar - er no, not considering a live-in under any circs...
