Getting anxious about cm Christmas present

She's fantastic and I wanted to get her something lovely - not just wine, chocolates, flowers etc.

I bought her a pair of cashmere flag loves thinking it was something I'd love myself but now worrying it's a bit personal. What do you think? Childminders would you like this as a gift?

Ha ha! I'm not a CM, but I would love them as a gift. Lovely idea.

DandyHighwayman · 16/12/2014 20:25

What a lovely idea. She will adore them.

lovelynannytobe · 16/12/2014 21:06

Great idea

happydazed · 17/12/2014 03:23

Oooo hope you are one of my parents I would love that! Great present.

Redglitter · 17/12/2014 03:31

I hate gloves but id love a cashmere flag Grin

LingDiLong · 17/12/2014 11:18

If any of my parents buy for me I'm always really grateful and touched - regardless of what the present actually is. It shows you're appreciated and well thought of! Honestly, no need to worry or overthink. I bet she'll be chuffed!

mindingalongtime · 17/12/2014 17:03

Cashmere socks would be amazing,( I love mine!) gloves get lost too easily and wear out. A really lovely and generous thought, you are kind!

Littlef00t · 17/12/2014 23:02

If you're worried could you give with a gift receipt?

wewishyou · 18/12/2014 00:25

I hope she doesn't come on mumsnet, she will be really disappointed to know that she might have received cashmere flags love instead of gloves Grin

But don't worry, that's not too personal Wink
