cms how do you do your expenses?!

just wondering how other cms do their expenses,weekly or monthly?
i mean things like toys,art and craft materials etc...
i do mine as and when i buy them,so on a weekly basis,just wondering if easier to do them once a month?

i do mine monthly
when i remember
just find it easier to add petrol, toddler groups etc monthly
but if your in a routine of doing it weekly thats fine its whatever works

Sounds like you've got a good system going. My plan was to do mine monthly but I end up doing everything for 6 months to a year at a time (when I suddenly remember that I haven't submitted my tax return).

I put all my receipts in punched pockets (one for each month). I highlight the date & total (ie, hand write the cm total if part personal) so its easy to just copy them into Excel as and when I get round to it.

i do mine when i get chance, say every few months, i have envelopes for each month too and i put everything into excel.
