I've recently seen several threads about bad au pairs, and I really would like to know - what do you look for? what do you like to see in their profiles? what puts you off? because I'm curious as to what all of those bad au pairs wrote on their profiles that made you chose them?

Work experience in almost any field to demonstrate drive and willingness to work - preferably with good references

Hobbies of any sort to demonstrate energy and sense of fun/curiosity

Indication that they like spending time with children and will be willing to get stuck into play

An open personality, humour in communication, evidence that they like their own families
