is there any way to report an agency for this? lady on my local fb swap and sell page is advertising live out au pair jobs for 110 a week. a live in one for 130 a week, 12 hour days etc.
told her its illegal and she tells me its fine and not everyone gets paid min wage in this world (told her you cant have a live out au pair and pay 110 a week! )

Is the agency a member of any trade body? BAPAA, IAPA, REC

Pay and Work Rights Helpline may be able to advise you about if the work is meeting legal requirements.

ASA - Non-Broadcast CAP code "applies to advertising in non-paid space on UK based company websites and in other third party space under their control such as social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter."

Though is the person acting as a company, or as an individual? That may make a difference to if the Non-Broadcast CAP code applies.
Also it may or may not break any of the rules.
"Rule 1.1 - Marketing communications should be legal, decent, honest and truthful."

I expect it will be very hard to challenge a live-in job. However a live-out job should meet NMW requirements, check with Pay & Work Rights Helpline.

This one is appalling. £80 for 45 hours (less than £2/hour)

Victoria I know, au pair jobs are. Usually it would be £80 for 25 hours.
