Nanny looking for morning work - is it likely to happen?

Hello all!

I've been doing my job for almost three years and the youngest will be starting full time school in September (!). All of my classes at university inconveniently fall during the afternoon. These two things mean I can work far less in my current role. I've started to look for some work during the mornings but it seems surprisingly short on the ground. Am I fooling myself? Does anybody on here hire someone for the mornings/ work during mornings?

Thanks,

Around here there are loads of after school nanny jobs, some before and after school, lots part time, but I haven't seen any just mornings. It is always difficult to find exactly the right piece to complete your jigsaw puzzle. Good luck with your search.

When the children i nannied for started school, I wasn't needed for work until 3, so I used to work in a preschool mornings only, so depends on if you only want nanny work or if you are willing to work in other types of settings.

I'm looking for a morning-only nanny but I suspect we don't live anywhere near each other :(

I only work mornings so we have a nanny 9am - noon. A friend of mine works from home and she also uses a nanny for 4 mornings a week.

Thanks Ms Rainbow, that's reassuring! Lucylouby, I'm pretty sure I'd need more professional qualifications to do that! Jonkastique, I'm in North London - any good?
