Hi, i have had an enquiry, a temp placement for two school aged children, hours required are 7.30-9am and then 3-7.15pm. I'd love others opinions on what they would charge.Thank you.

If it was me (I'm in Manchester) I would charge £3.00 an hour charging from 7am - 9 am and 3pm - 8pm as I charge by the full hour.

7 hours a day = £21.00 a day

This is the going rate where I am but I know some minders would charge for the full hours but at £5 before 8am and after 6pm which would bump it up to £27.00 a day.

my normal working hours are 8am-6pm

so for these hours i would prob charge
4 hours normal = £17
2 hours double = £17

So my charge would be £34 a day each

Standard school day £16 (£4 8-9 am, £12 3-6pm)
7:30 - 8 am and 6-7.15 = 1 3/4 hours doubletime
= £14
£30 per child per day during term-time
£46 per child per day during school hols (daily charge £32 8-6pm)

Thank you so much, that has been a great help. Although do think that getting a new bigger car for the temp position will be a little silly, but the help from you ladies is fab once again! x
