Hi,
Where would be the best place to look for a full time live out nannying job?

Also I have a degree in education and a level 3 qcf in working with children and young people but do not have a lot of experience working full time as a nanny. Although I worked as a part time nanny for three years and have worked in a nursery/as a creche supervisor plus have lots of experience working with older children and children with disabilities.

What kind of person are potential parents looking for. TIA

Personally I would be looking for someone who is loving, patient and lots of fun to be around. If he or she knows how to discipline and lay firm boundaries that would be important too.

My DD would just love to be around someone that is fun and loving Smile

If you are in London by any chance, do give me a shout. I'm looking for a nanny.

May depend a bit on where you live, as you want the job to be local.

Nannyjob.co.uk is where I would look.

From that I would see which agencies were doing a fair amount of jobs and then register with the agency which seemed to be doing the most jobs.
