Nanny public liability

Why does a nanny need public liability insurance? Is it not covered by the employers?

Which is the best company to buy nanny public liability insurance from and why?

In case you injure a child in your care through your negligence.

Employers have something called Employers Liability Insurance, which is to protect them against claims from you if you sustain an injury at work which is due to their negligence.

Best company, hard to know. You don't really know how good insurance is until you make a claim.

I've been with Morton Michel for years

As nick said you don't know how good a company is till you need to claim (hopefully never)

But they are the most well known and to me that's a good thing
