should I be thinking about changing CM?

My son's CM has a 2.5 year old son who has speech delay and is getting a bad reputation in our area for biting other children. He and my son get on very well and he has never bitten my son. CM is dealing with her son's behaviour but I know these things take time. The other issue is that CM has been diagnosed with CFS and I know there are days when she is too tired to take the children out to groups etc. She is keen to continue working and is pacing herself to live with CFS. Other mothers seem to think I maybe shouldn't continue sending my son to this CM but my son is happy and settled there. Interested to hear other opinions.

If you are happy with your CM, then you should stay, biting kid or not.

Does her CFS mean that she sometimes can't take children out, or does it mean that she needs to nap and leave children unsupervised? That would be my only concern.

I would ask her what her plan is when she is too tired to take et he children out.
Does she have an outside space the children can use? Does she have activities in the house for them? Have other childminders over to keep up social interaction?

I wouldn't leave her due to other people's opinions though! You and your son are happy. That's what is important

If she's unfit she will lose her registration. If you are happy then stay.
