How to find English classes for au pair? ESOL? EFL? (south London/croydon)

Hi, I am just really confused how to look for it and lack of understanding how much it will cost.
There are ESOL and EFL.
Goverment funded, partially funded and not.
How do I chose?

Anyone with experience?

If the AP is here temporarily I think EFL would be more appropriate rather than ESOL. If they are from within EU/EEC then it may be subsidised by the government. In Croydon it is probably CALAT which is your first port of call , otherwise try other local FE colleges.

Just contact your local college, ESOL is all but free, EFL will cost hundreds.

At least IME.
