New to site- got excited with my posts! Au pairs in Clapham? I am a Dad!

Just been on the home page and saw how many posts I wrote on - sorry about that - excited to find somewhere to moan and share!

we have an au pair who has started with us this week and she is looking for some classes to take our little boy (3) but one where other au pairs are. Wondered if anyones LO goes to something like this in the area?

Yes noticed. Moan and share is encouraged, advertising is not. Mention a company who is great on occasion but not in almost every post.

No idea about Clapham, you may find you get a response about local things on the Mumsnet Local: Wandsworth board, though always a chance someone on this section will be in your neck of the woods.

Is your au-pair going to attend English classes, they may meet other au-pairs there.

Hello Si, google your local surestart centre, they will have loads of free/cheap classes that will be great for the au pair to take the kids to. They will aslo have a notice board for local playgroups and the staff will be a wealth of knowledge!
You should have a local music with mummy class, they are usually superb. Again google!
Do you have a local facebook group like "wandsworth parents" ? Ask on there and you should be innundated with ideas! Good luck!

I'm rather sceptical about all the advertising SiLovell. I've several times today to contact the agency you recommend. They have been the only one not to get back to me. And when I tried to click on their form to register online it came with some other poor lady's completed form - including personal details.
