CYPOP5 Task 8 help!

I am doing the introducing childminding course and Task 8 is confusing me; has anyone done this recently that can help me please?

I have to fill in a table outlining the signs, symptoms, indicators and behaviours of different types of abuse (physical, emotional, sexual and neglect). I am confused as to what the difference is between a sign, symptom and an indicator?! They are the same to me. Any ideas?

Not done it.

Would say a sign was something you physically see.
A symptom is something they tell you about, such as complaining of a tummy ache.
Indicator could be something you see in their changed behaviour.

They seem all the same to me too.

Indicators:
Late reporting.
Inconsistent story of how something happened.
Frequent A&E visits
