Funding Q as a CM

I've been working 18 months now and had my first enquiry about funding.
LO currently has 15 hours funding and attends a nursery. Mum is not happy and wants LO to come to me now.
Can I access the funding? How do I do it?
TIA x

You need to contact your Early Years team at your LA to see how to begin in my area

Bear in mind that funding is v often considerably less than the hourly rate charged by the CM. The shortfall cannot be collected by the CM from the parents and a financial loss can occur. Lots of CM have chosen not to uptake the funding programme because of this.

Ahh ok thanks for that. I will look into it and see if its worth it.

I am a cm and I have just started doing funded places, bit of a pain to set up and they pay in arrears not in advance. once its set up its fine though and slightly more than my normal hourly rate.
