CM Club: Do any of you accept the free entitlement for 10 hrs a week instead of 15hrs?

We were told by our local authority that funded places could be 15 hours a week term time only or 10 hours a week all year. Do any of you do funded places for 10 hours a week? How many weeks of the year can a child attend for 10 hours?

570 hours is the annual max entitlement.

Not sure how 10 hours per week would work but as it is less than annual entitlement I guess it is fine. I think some local authorities call it Stretched Offer as the entitlement is stretched beyond term time dates.

Has your LA got rules for how the scheme works published on their website? The documents may help explain how it would work and when payments are made.

I accept the funding 12 hours per week 48 weeks of the year, which is the max number of weeks it's offered. No one at the LA seem to understand it though! It has taken a term and a half to get the payment right. Parent is very happy though, makes life much simpler for them.

I'd rather do the 48 weeks, but the whole council system is set up for three terms and I know they'd get it wrong, so I don't do it.
