After 9 years my son will be leaving his childminder as he moves schools.

She had my daughter for 7 years too, so want to get her a nice present from us all to thank her. But I have no clue what. Does anyone have any suggestion? Thanks x

23 yrs childminding. memorable things I have appreciated include silver bangle (think of the child/family every time I wear it). Framed poem about the childs/parents memories of his time spent with me/places we had been/friends he made/funny things he had said (in playroom I read it every week!). Also nice card and reference to keep in my portfolio are welcome. Personally not keen on chocolates (straight to hips). And keep in touch with xmas cards etc its lovely to know what old mindees are doing with their lives Smile

I'm experiencing a present today. A child who left for school in September bought my family tickets for the shard in London. Here we are and I'm dreading it as I'm scared of heights. The other child who left at the same time gave us a bottle of wine, which was also lovely.
