Nanny hourly rates what is the going rate 2014?

We are reviewing our nanny's rate. She has been with us for 2 and half years. It was her first nanny post. She is on a net hourly rate of £8.
I really want to change to a gross rate now and possibly give a pay rise. I have lost touch with the current rates. We are on the south coast .
I have not had a pay rise of 4 years and in fact have had a pay cut. I am self employed and my business employees have all had a 1 percent rise. Her duties have changed since my youngest child started school so she does a lot of housekeeping.
We are very happy with her and want to be fair but affordability is an issue.

Fairly static in my view.
How about working out gross figure then adding a little. Maybe around 10.50 gross.

Any nanny jobs being advertised in your area? Perhaps look at what others are offering.

I'm on £10.50 gross on south coast (Brighton). Seems to be above average for my area going by what the agencies advertise.
