Is it more difficult to find an au pair to start in September?

Current favourite potential au pair wants to stay until mid-September to start a new uni course.

A couple of friends have said that its more difficult to find an au pair for an August/September start, has anyone else found this to be the case?

We're no longer in London, so our pool of potential applicants is smaller anyway

TIA

I would say just the opposite. All our aupairs have started in September. Once I had to find another one in November and that was much more difficult

ours always start in September. We recruit in the July, ready for September.

When I was an aupair, both of my positions started in September. Most jobs start then.

Thanks - that's a nice easy decision then.
