Single parent of 14year old needs help+house sitter while on business travel (a few days every month or two). Any suggestions/recommendations?

An au pair lives in, so there isn't such a thing as an 'occasional' au pair. You'd have to have one all of the time. If you can find a nanny who'd do it then that's your best bet. An older nanny who can reign in a teenager. Or even better, somebody local who is happy to house sit and watch a 14 year old.

Could you find a local student who would do it? If there is a university nearby advertise to the students?
