I was wondering how much are you willing to pay a nanny? is £7.0 an hour to much? I have worked in different childcare settings and my last post was in an after school club for 15 years and before then I was a nanny.I was paid £100 aweek.

Depends on area. Some nannies in cities can be on £12+ gross an hour live-out.

I would say £7 nett (and you should really talk in gross) would be the min these days, as nannynick says it does depend where you are though as northen nannies will prob be on less than ones down south or in london
