Appropriateness of sending DS potentially with large dressings to CM?

Just wondering really. DS was burnt by tea recently and has dressings on his neck chest and tummy. I was thinking not really, as he is at risk of (another) infection and also there are two other children with our CM. Just wondered if I was just looking for excuses to stay home with my 20mth old or am being overprotective... . Any CM's/nannies have any opinions please?

I'd call the childminder and ask her if it's ok to send him in. Does he feel up to going?

He's more or less back to himself. Few more tantrums and quite tired. I don't think he always gets much in the way of naps with the cm though.

The dressings are done at the hospital, but I do have a supply and am qualified to do it if I feel appropriate. He is quite clingey atm, although it is a possibility that his dressings will be removed today (although I think it very unlikely). Will have to see how it goes this afternoon. Feel reassured that the CM hopefully won't think I'm weird whichever way we decided to go.
