Can I ask from help from Childminders please, especially those who have registered recently, are going through registration & support minders.
The NCMA South East Regional Committee are trying to put together a case for lobbying the DfES regarding the costs of Health Declaration Forms for registering Childminders. We need to know what you were charged & if possible roughly the area you live in, this applies across England & Wales, not just the South East. We have heard of prospective childminders being prevented from carrying on with registering because of the costs involved & want to use evidence to back up a resolution for the Conference in November, however initial information is required asap as a decision is being made on Saturday whether the proposed reolution will be accepted or not.
