Childminder - Sevenoaks...

Hi. We're moving to Sevenoaks in a month and whilst my 18mo dd has gone to nursery full time since 5mo, I'm thinking of changing the setting and trying to find a childminder instead -mainly as she'll only need to go two days a week once we move. Not sure where to start though - wondered if anyone knew of any child minders they could recommend?? Thanks

Hi, you may be best to check on the local boards here or have a look on childcare.co.uk. Arrange to visit a few childminders to get a feel for how they will differ from a nursery and then decide if you think that will suit your child / circumstances. Good luck

Hi if you google "Kent CFIS Childcare Directory" there is a kent county council site which will let you search for childminders within your town or postcode. It's been a while but I used it to find my childminder and it's completely free and a pretty comprehensive list of qualified and registered CM's.

And any good childminder will be happy for you to visit and to speak to existing parents.

Sevenoaks is lovely, you lucky thing! I'm in T Wells but go to Sevenoaks a lot for work things and would love to live there

I'm a sev nanny and know a few cm tho some Have retired now or are full

Used to be a couple called Claire and Giles F and were very good - but not sure if they are still about
