I think you should pay her £3 per hour gross...

Just kidding!

Have a look on nannyjob.co.uk. I don't really know much about NI. Or, aask an agency, then knock off about 15% as I am convinced they inflate prices. There are deffo cheaper ways than agencies. You might also look at greataupair.com, but it's a bit more au pair oriented.

Live-in or live-out?
How many kids? Ages?
Do they need to drive? Have own car?

try this site for workingmout the gross/net pay etc
www.nannyplus.co.uk/families/salary.htm

I have had trouble finding a nanny for 3 days on 6.50 net/ 200 a week gross - they all want a minimum of £7 net.£8 gross! I am not even in London! I just don't have that money!

hi thanks for the replies. it would be live out, they have their own car and it would be for a 6mo and a 3yo who will be at nursery from 9.15-11.45 daily. also take the baby to baby & toddler groups 4 days a week. thanks

would also depend greatly on the age / experiance and qualifications of the nanny!
