Hi not been minding long, i have a mindee 10 hours a week but this week he is on a school trip, can i still charge full fee, only mum says nothings due as hes not here. i use NCMA paperwork and it does say if there are contracted hours available but parent does not use, you still should be paid according to the contract. Do you think i should ask her for the money? !!!!Thanks

yes, she still has to pay as you are available (as long as that's what's on your contract)

She should still pay as you are still availible to have him. And especially if you're using the NCMA contracts and paperwork, if she still says no, show her the book and expalin she only doesn't pay if you can't have him.

Yes charge dont let her decide that you are not to be paid, if it is a day you should but she decides not to send him she still needs to pay. If you let her get away with it you will regret it and it will be something bigger next time.

I agree with everyone else - Unless she is taking it as one of her holiday weeks and has given you the notice it says on your contract?
