Hi everyone,I had been registered DBS checked 3 years ago. I think 3 years valid. I was nanny that time. I am trying to be come childminder now. Do I need it register DBS check again and pay?Thanks.

Yes. You may also want to register for the yearly update service to avoid going through it all again if you change job, plus means parents can confirm your check status online.

Don't do it until you get to the correct stage in the registration process as you need the ofsted registered body code they provide.

If your previous check was by Ofsted then you may not need a new one, ask Ofsted.
