Hi,
to those who pay a CM for after school childcare (including pick up) between 3.15 and 6pm - what do you pay?
Does it make a difference how old the child is? My child is going into reception.
We can do the mornings, so I am just interested in the evenings

Thanks!

I'm a CM, not a parent. For after school from 3pm to 6pm (I charge from the time I leave my house, not when child leaves school) the fees are £10.50, equating to £3.50 per hour. That is my normal hourly rate for hours from 8am to 6pm, which applies to all children irrespective of age. This includes an after school snack/drink but not evening dinner. Children who are with me until 6pm may have evening dinner for an additional fee of £1.00 for that meal. So you would pay £10.50 without dinner or £11.50 with dinner.

I charge £18 for after-school until 6pm including evening meal. My hourly rate is £6/hr but I charge a set fee regardless of pick-up time before 6pm as I have limited school-age spaces so would obviously rather get the full hours.

I'm a CM and charge a flat rate of £10 per after school place regardless if age or time picked up. And provide a light tea. Used to work until 6pm know work until 5.15.

I am however only charging one customer £5 / pick up as mum will pick up at 4.30 and there will be no tea but I do look after his sibling all day.
