Where do I start? Do I just do the CI course?

Do I have to go through the SCMA & their course / workbook etc?

Guide to running a childminding service - may be a useful read.

Things may vary depending on your location, so I suspect the first point of contact would be your local council Family Information Service, or Early Years department. For example, Aberdeenshire Council has some info available says they run a free course (looks to be in association with SCMA).
