Babysitter website/agency type service..opinions?!

Hello everyone,

I used to work as a nanny while studying to further my career in a different line of work. I have maintained great relationship with many families (over 30) that I have been nannying/babysitting for and they still contact me for weekends/evenings, which I rarely feel like doing, but I have started giving them phone numbers of many other babysitters, never leaving them uncovered. I hope it won't sound like I am greedy, but I was thinking of charging a say yearly fee and provide cover for a certain number of so called emergency babysitting situations. That would of course involve some sort of contract and taking more families on board etc..Does it sound like a service that any of you would use??

Sounds good. What would you charge? How would I know your babysitter had an up to date criminal record check?

Well I would definitely perform all the police checks and also reference check. I am still toying with the idea, therefore not able to provide an answer regarding the fee etc..Can I ask what would you be willing to pay for say 10 babysits a year(ie 10 contact details of different babysitters- once you have their contact details you can contact them yourselves whenever needed)? Also, I know there are many other services out there, but I am not sure whether there is anything that specific. My aim would be to offer a service that is friendly and as affordable as possible.
