Hi all, my childcare has fallen through and am in desperate need of a nanny/babysitter for a wedding we are going to in Guildford on Saturday (27th). Would be from 1.30ish - 7pm. Anyone have any recommendations?

I do a lot of weddings and some word of mouth and some via agencies

You could try Sam at Elizabeth Henry Nannies or Vicky at Bearsted Babes - these are the main 2 I work through for weddings tho I/they am based in kent - but I have been known to work on Surrey / Sussex and outer London before

You could ask the hotel if they recommend any nannies /agencies - again many do in my area and normally recommend the two above

Ps - I would help but already booked that day so can't - good luck

Hi I know a nanny in that area and have sent her a message to see if she can help you out, I would but have my own little one.

Try an ad on nannyjob - I'm sure there must be some nannies in that area who would be happy to help you out.

Just heard back and the nanny I know is away this weekend unfortunately

Place an ad on your local netmums (Free) or message any on there who are looking for babysitting

Tho you may be better off using an agency so then the nanny will have had their references checked etc
