Picked up a kiddy from nursery and she's been to the loo.
Her faeces had worms wriggling in it - tmi sorry

I've informed Mum. She's phones the HV who says the other parents must be informed, but no further treatment apart from infected child

I'm just wanting reassurance that this is correct before I do a quick letter.

Many thanks x

I thought it was often best to treat all family members.

Not necessary for whole nursery to do it as no sharing of towels.

I told her I thought all family members had to be treat
I have a new baby started today! Mums very cautious about leaving h. This will go down like a lead balloon!

I would inform other parents - let them make the decision.
as for mum with new baby, at least it's a mindee and not your own dc who has worms Wink

I've always thought all family members should be treated too.

thankfully not something I've ever had to deal with!!

A child in my care kept getting worms , the whole family are supposed to get treated it says on the tablet packet .I treated my own family just in case and let other parents know ( they treated themselves as a pre caution) we didnt get them but this child kept coming back with them , it was horrible .Make sure you chuck out any play dough you may have at your setting.

I have had a child in my care who had worms tho I'm a nanny

The whole family and me had to be treated - was a tablet - mb couldn't take as was pregnant

If a cm I would inform all families and ask all to be treated

And make sure all children really wash their hands esp after going to the toilet
