Looking for childminder in north Leeds...where to start

I'm looking for a childminder in North Leeds from February 2014 but have no idea how to go about this. I will need childcare for 3 days per week from 7-7.30am until approx 6.30pm. My DH and I both work shifts so although this would be fixed days it would be ideal if there was someone that could be a little flexible with additional hours/days if needed.

Is this completely unrealistic and how do I go about finding someone?

Try getting a list of childminders from your local council Family info service. Think Leeds has something called Family Hub or something like that.

Where are you in north leeds? I can recommend the one I use, she's great and will accomodate changing patterns if she can within her numbers.
