Looking for a night nanny

Does anyone know or can recommend a night nanny?
We are desperately in need of some help for our 4 week old baby while my husband and I are recovering from illnesses and need some nights of rest. Please contact me. Thank you.

You need to say where you are!

LeChatRouge · 05/04/2013 22:19

Yes, where are you? I might know someone who can come and stay whilst you rest.

PowerPants · 05/04/2013 23:17

Maralig - have someone if you are near me or you can try googling Night Nannies as I know there is an agency specifically for that.

mrswishywashy · 06/04/2013 07:17

I've got many colleagues who may be able to help just need to know where you live.

Maralig · 06/04/2013 07:33

We are in south west London (Barnes)

Nightnannies is a decent agency that specialises in this so try them-they should be able to provide ad hoc cover.

Try www.baby-911.co.uk/

I have used Iman and she is lovely.

I am a maternity night nanny based in leicestershire but cover all of east midlands and warwickshire.

so a bit far from you but think many london/south based families do use the agency night nannies.

I can recommend www.kidsmatter.uk.com a national agency she may have a maternity nurse or night nanny available.

NutellaNutter · 07/04/2013 00:07

Another vote for Night Nannies agency. We used them twice and they were brilliant both times.

Hi ChompieMum. Please could you tell me how Iman works and why you would recommend her - I was thinking of calling her. Thank you!

Deearnamaternitynurse · 02/05/2013 23:35

Hi I am a maternity nurse, night nanny, multiples expert sleep and feed consultant and much more feel free to contact if still struggling

RatherNot · 04/05/2013 15:38

I don't have direct experience of her but a friend used Lucy Symons - she's based in SW London area, I think. lucysymons.squarespace.com/post-natal-doula/
She helps out at home with cooking, laundry, establishing a routine - that sort of thing - so she may be what you all need!
